Server

The servers up and has been all day, I've logged on about 7 times since 1am and once just now. The problem isn't that it's dead it's that it isn't appearing in game spy. You can directly connect to the server by clicking the big direct connect button and copying the following into it.

sporaxis.ath.cx:5121

*edit* To paste it press ctrl+v as you can't right click.

This could be caused by many factors and it will require Spor to look into to see what the problem actually is.

Hey hey I just wanted to point out that you could still play while I was at work.... I left to work 2 minutes after hitting post.... Well that and I wanted to give Spor a better idea of the problem so he doesn't just reset it and go it's up it's working and none still able to find the server.

I will look at router/firewall etc issues. Gayspy causes issues at times.

Nope got 'Booted', twice!

Well I'm not home at the moment so can't see if I can connect still. The fact you were booted though sounds like maybe item level restrictions were enabled again by mistake (woe last time was fun). This however must be a recent development as there were about 7 of us on last night.

Anyhows this is going to be an issue left up to Spor if you're actually being kicked from the server.

Nope cant get in. As a DM all I get is black screen after direct connecting and as a PC with new and old characters I get booted. I tried a new character as they would not have any items, still get booted.

Nope, I get booted too. Tried a different login just in case, and that got booted too.

Just had a look then seeing as I just got home, it isn't setup with item level restrictions and it's kicking me as well without any form of reason. At a guess I'm going to go with the server has anti-cheat scripts in place (which most do these days) and they were broken in someway in the last module update. Had a look at the module name and it looks different to the one I remember seeing last night so it's likely a problem caused by an update, either way we have to wait on Spor as only he can touch it that I know of.

I think mostly we've agreed to blame Hino for the server problems. It doesn't solve anything, but at least you know who to direct your angry complaints to.

Did some running about

Then as I got back to Stormhaven to sell up *Rubs hands together evilly*

Server dumped me (and Ulwan too)

Waited for 45mins for it to come back up again

Alas, when I (we) returned we had lost all xp/gp/items from the past 2hours

Kept the damage we had though

Both of my PCs are currently being booted as soon as I try and log on. Version is 401j.

I'm also getting booted. I suppose the server is grumpy.

I've just tried to log in and do a reset and got as far as the Welcome Room....although my screen was blank and I just had the sound effects. So no go here either.

Heh... this baby just dunna wanna be found!

If not back up by this eve... can we just say Ronin strode into the middle of the kidnappers hideout, slew them all, rescued the baby, gave her back to her dad, got all the credit and loot, was knighted for his deeds and won Kainah's heart all in one fell swoop?
