Um......I'm trying really hard not to panic, but I've just tried to log in and Jaks isn't there. The character of Jaks isn't there for me to select to go into the game with. Instead I have some first level barb ...... Is anyone else having any problems with lost characters??????

I get booted when I try and log in, but my character is definitely there. Guess the server booted Jaks just a bit farther than the rest of us.

I think the goblins have found the DM password... all that reading has finally payed off!

OK Orca didn't work.. perhaps because he has no server access...

Okay, I just logged in to Aeon just fine. Not sure if it showed up in Gamespy, I used direct connect.

Yep, all good again now. Wasn't in gamespy when I checked last night, so only had direct connect as an option.

Sorry people, I was out all day and only got my brothers call late in afternoon. On review, found I had a database corruption, service partially running (no idea) and firewal rules weirding out.

Fixed around 7ish and seems to be running good now.

I blame mattless for all the computer problems, partly because I am tired of being blamed for everything and Caff calling me a freaking gnome. So damn you mattless, this is your fault!

I logged in and my inventory is crazy.. somethings there, some things missing. When i tried to kill something nwn crashes.


I suggest you don't log in in case the latest reset is corrupting characters.

Yes, same thing with Rain. He doesn't have much inventory left, but none of the items he is wearing show up on the character screen. I think they are equipped, but not showing. And NWN crashes when I try and loot anything, same as Kat.

It was working fine earlier until after the automated reset, so I'm guessing it has to do with the reset script.

Yep, Im getting the same.

Very strange. Im missing 90% of my inventory, but things I had quickslotted remained in their quickslots and reappeared when used. eg, my helm was unequipped but quickslotted - it wasnt in my inventory, but when I clocked the quickslot it showed up in the helm slot and went into the inventory when I took it off.

Im guessing an update to fix the CEP loot tables that snuck in, that hasnt quite worked as intended.

Yep its stuffed, I will let spor know when he gets home, will be late though.

Just performing a roll back to an early version. Some of the cahnges I made to the module as part of the treasure fix, seems to have really screwed things up sublimely.

Server should be up now, or very close to. FOr those that have lost stuff, please let me know, so I cna restore your character via backups.

And all the stuff that was missing from my inventory is intact, too. So everything looks like it should be fine, unless the ones who crashed have problems.

Issues that happened are due to me trying to fix the custom treasure system, what should work on paper and in solo testing does not equate to a lot of people playing. I am currently at the point where I will be doing a full rebuild of the module to remove the C.R.A.P scripts as they are the cause of the entire issues. I honestly do not know why the whole NWN building community is not up in arms over the assumptions made by the CEP and C.R.A.P team.
