Aeon PW
All



It has been a good run with Aeon, but all things run their course and come to an end. I have watched Aeon slowly grow then die off as people moved onto other interests or found worlds that appeal to them more. Instead of leaving the server up and running empty, I have decided to turn off the server and close the player portion of the forums.



I would like to thank those that have put in their time and effort, either as DM's, builders or players. Without your efforts a world can not exist or grow into something more than a concept.



So what next, for me I am not sure, perhaps I shall learn something else perhaps not. I do know my power bill will be smaller next month, so out of sad endings a positive comes.

Finally back home and feel like a flutter in Aeon...

...push the little on button and look...little lights, but no drives or fans spinning...DOH!! I think my pc is having some payback for me playing with those cheap hotel numbers. OOOkay, tinker tinker, hmmm, looks like a blown powersource, mebbe a surge??? just enough time to run down to the pc shop for a replacement before it closes. Yay! Hmmm, it goes in here, oh look, this terminal is this big, and that terminal is that big...DOH!!! (stupid shop techy, even after I give him a sample)Oh goody, work tomorrow and Saturday, no chance of a swap till Sunday. Can't play Aeon for a few days or download and photoshop my holiday pics. Thank heavens for good old back up Bessy. At least I can still read the forums and see all the great times I'm missing out on... Crying or Very sad
